Examples of competitions are on the schedule and include:

Distance Drives

Putting Competitions

Closest to Pin

Best Specialty Throw

🏆 End-of-Season Prizes

Prizes will be awarded for the following end-of-season achievements:

1 Bag Tag Finish

Person finishing with the #1 bag tag and an attendance of 8+ rounds will receive the prize. If the person with the #1 bag tag has fewer than 8 rounds of attendance, the prize is forfeited to the player holding the next lowest number bag tag who has attended 8 or more rounds. This rule prevents a player from securing the #1 bag tag early in the season and not participating in further rounds.

Final Tournament Winner

The final two rounds of the season are tournament rounds. Players may compete in both rounds, but only their best score counts as their final season score. In case of a tie, a putt-off will determine the winner.

Best Attendance

The player with the highest attendance at the end of the season will receive a prize. Players must present their bag tag at the round or, if forgotten, can still be counted by paying a $5 fee. A putting play-off will be a tie breaker if needed.

Voted Most Improved by the League

The league will vote on who was the most improved player over the season. The player deemed most improved is eligible for a prize.

Most Lost Discs During League Play

The player who lost the most discs during league play will win a prize. This light-hearted award acknowledges the rough patches in play with a bit of humor. A putting play-off will be a tiebreaker. Bear in mind the point for a lost disc goes to the owner of the disc not the thrower. This means that if Trevor borrows a disc from Jasper and loses the disc on a throw, it’s Jasper’s disc – he gets the point, NOT Trevor.

Recruitment Prize

The player who recruits the most other players to participate in league rounds, regardless of whether they join the league officially, will earn a prize. This encourages community growth and involvement. A putting play-off will be a tie breaker.
