âď¸ League Rule Updates
The Codeâs been refined, mates! We learned much from last yearâs skirmishes, and this season brings updates aimed at makinâ play smoother and fairer. Cast yer eyes on the newest rules below the mastheadâno excuses, read âem well or face the Master-at-arms, Ernest Huizar!
đĽ Deciding Who Gets Which Tag in a doubles round:
The player who started with the lower tag gets the lower tag. For example, if you and your partner were 6 and 9 and you win for the day, the player who began with 6 gets the one tag, and the player with 9 gets the two tag.
đĽ Forgotten Bag Tags
Forgetting a tag means attendance is not counted, you cannot play for the dayâs prize and you are not in the running for tag exchange.
đĽHitting Another Player With A Disc Penalty (Mike- It’s not just for you but for everyone!)
If you hit another player with a disc standing still (in other words, they didn’t walk in front of your throw), you will lose your attendance for the day. Be careful out there!
đĽ Doubles Are Chosen With Balanced Skills
Doubles are chosen with bag tags – If players arrive with tags 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6, then the player with tag 1 is paired with 6, 2 is with 5, and 3 is with 4. If a player has no tag and is inexperienced, they will be assumed to have the highest number and be paired with the lowest. If a player who is experienced plays with us, they will be considered to be in the middle.
Raise yer flags and ready yer arms, Putt Piratesâthis season promises high seas, high scores, and high adventure!
